By juggling two in situ programs in the region, the Frac aims to offer everyone the chance to discover contemporary art. It develops an important collection circulation policy at the regional level and beyond, as well as a policy of valorization of contemporary art in conjunction with artists working throughout the territory. The different themes of the artistic and cultural project Faire société open doors to co-building exhibition projects revolving around the collection, or inviting artists to produce new projects.
The Frac is in dialogue with many public and private cultural actors and groups that wish to develop a contemporary art offering. With a presence in the Aix-Marseille and Nice academies, and through a network of partner sites distributed over the region’s six departments, it offers its expertise and supports teams in their coordination, mediation and transmission missions.
